EllisDon Ranked First in Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark’s Social Infrastructure: Health & Social Care Services
EllisDon is pleased to announce the results of their inaugural Global Real Estate Sustainability (GRESB) submission. PPP Investments I LP/PPP Investments II LP, a portfolio of PPP infrastructure assets in which EllisDon maintains a minority equity interest, was submitted to GRESB and ranked first amongst its peers in Social Infrastructure: Health & Social Care Services. All infrastructure projects within the PPP Investments I LP/PPP Investments II LP portfolio were developed and constructed by EllisDon. GRESB is the global standard for assessing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance in real estate and infrastructure assets. The framework is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement and major international reporting frameworks. Data reported to the GRESB Assessments are validated by a third party. The 2021 benchmark covered more than 2,200 real estate and infrastructure entities.PPP Investments I LP/PPP Investments II LP is a portfolio of five social infrastructure facilities in Canada. The following assets were submitted as part of this portfolio: Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Saskatoon Civic Operations Centre, Emily Carr University of Art & Design, Royal Ottawa Hospital and Providence Care Hospital.
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Royal Ottawa Hospital are operated and maintained by EllisDon Facilities Services. The sustainable management of all facilities ensured strong performance across the GRESB maintenance and operations categories.
