The Story

PNE is building a brand new, state-of-the-art outdoor Amphitheatre with a capacity of about 10,000. This world-class open-air venue will provide much needed mixed-use venue space for top-tier concerts, arts and culture programming, community events, esports events, and more.

The project will include a fixed roof of long-span mass timber construction, as well as a permanent stage and back-of-house building. The back-of-house building will feature fixed stage, 2 loading docks, performer dressing facilities and lounges, washroom facilities, offices, a freight elevator, and a commercial grade all electric kitchen.

The project will also include fixed audience seating, 28 VIP seating boxes, fully fitted out VIP suites, VIP washroom facilities, touring sound equipment and stage rigging, guest washroom facilities (98 units), a lawn seating area, a sound attenuation wall at the rear of the amphitheatre, signage, box offices, and entry features. Additionally, the project will feature an Indigenous art component, 3 free-standing concession buildings that are fully fitted, and associated landscaping and site works, including the demolition of existing structures.
