The Aspire Food Group - New Production Facility project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art cricket farming and processing facility that is the largest in the world. The facility supports the industrial farming of approximately 20,000,000 lbs. of crickets per year for insect protein production, which serves the demand for premium protein alternatives in the food and pet food markets.

The building houses an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (“AS/RS”) using racking that is approximately 97 feet high. This system is used to efficiently handle the large volume of insect storage totes. In addition to the AS/RS racking system, there will be other storage and processing and packaging rooms, including a frozen finished goods storage room that will be maintained at -18 degrees Celsius.

This new facility is one of the most technologically advanced and energy-efficient protein production systems in the world.
