The Story

The 100 Queens Quay - LCBO Building project involved the construction of a new, 24-storey office/retail tower, and site of the LCBO’s flagship store in Toronto. The project also includes four levels of underground parking and an underground concourse. The two-floor podium was designed to be encased in a glass facade and used for retail stores, Tunnels connect the office tower to the residential area on the north side of the site. The project is pursuing a LEED Platinum Certification.

The building is equipped with an Enwave connected energy system, mitigating the need for a chiller and boiler, which saved the client in excess of $2 million.
