From a young age, Matteo Lonardi always envisioned a future in construction. During his 16-month internship at EllisDon, he turned that dream into reality. Throughout his journey with us, Matteo gained hands-on experience and developed invaluable skills—both practical and personal—that will serve as a strong foundation for his growing career.

At EllisDon, we believe in nurturing the next generation of construction leaders. As part of their co-op experience, we asked our Building and Material Sciences interns, including Matteo, to reflect on their hopes and dreams by writing letters to their future selves. This exercise encouraged them to think deeply about their goals and aspirations, both in their careers and personal lives.
