The EllisDon entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in our Industrial Services division.  Not only does our team participate in engineering research specific to the field (such as lift studies and the creation of new construction methods), but we’re also a vertically integrated self-performing contractor.   From the early works of excavation and piling, to structural, mechanical, electrical and commissioning capabilities, they are there for clients from cradle to grave.  And by grave, we don’t mean the end of construction; we’re capable of servicing these unique projects well into the operations phase.

This in-house prowess goes beyond the traditional contractor role and into the supplier realm. With equipment shortages poised to delay projects (particularly in Western Canada), EllisDon’s Oxford Equipment Division is fully-equipped to support the Industrial team on a national level.  We also have our very own pre-fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, providing clients with even more options. Having these capabilities on-hand translates to greater control over our projects – consistent, quality performance in a sector where the smallest margins can make the biggest difference.
