As a dedicated sector working in tandem with our internal sustainability team, the focus of EllisDon’s  Alternative Energy division is to utilize all aspects of renewable energy.  From biomass, to windmills, to solar panels, these green gurus work as part of a larger team to build new ways of harnessing the energy resources of tomorrow.  Like all of our sectors, this group is always willing to lend their expertise to existing construction projects within EllisDon – consulting on the installation of solar panels or the transition to more efficient electricity.  But where they truly excel is in the planning and construction of projects that change the way resources are used.  So whether it’s working with a public client to create a geothermal collection system, or building a power station that generates both electricity and heat, we are constantly looking for new ways to make the sustainable more attainable.
